Just a quick reminder to our much valued customers, the Christchurch Mexican Café's 5^th birthday celebrations are on this week. From this Wednesday the 26^th of May the Fiesta begins with live band the 'Young Juans' playing a lively mix of latin and New Zealand tunes. On Thursday we have the ever popular Latin guitarist Dr Sanchez strumming for your enjoyment and on Friday Live latin band Maracuja will provide the music! All of the above will be starting at 7.30pm and playing right through dinner service. On Saturday night from 11pm Dj Philosoraptor will be spinning a lively mix of old school funk and Hiphop for you late night party animals.

Birthday weeks not just about the live music, its time for us here at the Mexican Café to give something back to you! There will be drink specials including $10 Havana Club 'Mojitos', Corona buckets (4 Corona's) for $24 and $5 El Jimador tequila shots. This is on top of our 'world famous' happy hour from 5-7pm where Margarita's are just $7.50. As well as cheap drinks we will be handing out lots of other surprises during the week, you'll just have to come in for dinner to find out for yourself.
