Hola, Unfortunately in the boxing day aftershocks our restaurant was significantly damaged, and will be closed until further notice. It's a night you will meet Brazilians, Chileans, Colombians, Peruvians, Americans, Kiwis… everybody enjoying live music all the way from from Bossa Nova (the rhythm that has made Brazil known worldwide for its music), Samba, and Forro to the flamenco stylings of Dr Sanchez. The following two acts rotate on a weekly basis... Dr SanchezOur resident latin guitarist Dr Sanchez has travelled the world developing his flamenco-styled guitar playing. Dr Sanchez performs a mix of traditional South American music and more progressive flamenco originals. He is not to be missed. The Young JuansThe Young Juans are a latin jazz combo comprising of some of Christchurch's most versatile musicians. Playing a wide range of latin jazz they have been known, on occasion, to cause people to go wild and start dancing on the bar!!!
