Between the Mexican CafĂ© Auckland and the Mexican Cafe Christchurch we are proud to offer what is arguably the largest range of tequila in New Zealand. Blanco (Plata or Silver) Tequila

  • Purest form of Tequila & it's true essence, that of the Blue Agave Plant
  • Can be either 100% Agave or mixed Tequilas
  • Can be enjoyed neat or on the rocks
  • Blancos have a floral, herbal & peppery quality smoothed by the Agave's sweetness

Reposado Tequila

  • Translated means "rested"
  • Must be aged in wood for at least 60 days & almost always less than one year
  • A nice balance between the essence of the Blue Agave &the Vanilla & Spice imparted from the Oak Barrel
  • Can be enjoyed straight or in mixed drinks

Anejo Tequila
Tequila Herradura 
 

  • Tequila aged for a minimum of one year & up to three years
  • Aged in government sealed barrels (usually Kentucky Whiskey)
  • Characterised by it's dark colour & smooth flavour
  • Enjoyed sipped straight in a brandy snifter
